LAD statistics for year 2008
In 2008 LAD analyzed more than 6000 samples. A all-time record in the history of the LAD. In 2008, some results have been reported as "atypical finding" when complementary analyses were requested.

Samples recieved in the laboratory are subdivised in 2 classes related to sample collection period. Since a few years athletes are tested during competition (in competition) but also during training or at home (out of competition). In 2008 64.4% analyzed samples in LAD were collected out of competition. Among anormal and atypical samples 63,2% of in competition samples have been reported as adverse analytical findings and 74.3 % out of competition samples have been reported as atypical findings.
