Flavia Badoud, PhD student in LAD, won the poster award for her poster in the Steroid research congress 2011 in Chicago, the 27-29th March. Her poster called "Profiling of endogenous steroids by UHPLC-QTOF-MSE". See the poster.

Nicolas Leuenberger, Scientist in the LAD, was the winner of the Mandfred Donike Award 2011 for his poster during the MDI workshop in Cologne. The poster called : "Circulating microRNAs as stable Biomarkers for the Detection of Erythropoiesis-Stimulating Agent Abuse". See the poster.

Flavia Badoud, PhD student in the LAD, obtained the ccCTA Prize for her project : "Fast analysis of doping agents in urine by UHPLC-QTOF-MS and MS/MS".This project was published in the journal of chromatography A. She recieved her prize during the ccCTA day in Diablerets the 16 and 17th on September 2010.

After the EURO 08, the LAD will analyze the samples coming from the Ice Hockey World Championships 2009. that will take place from the 24th of April till the 10th of May 2009. The games of the competition will be played in Bern and Zürich and will gather the 16 best teams. All information related to this event are available on the official website of the 2009 IIHF World Championship.

5 days after the end of the UEFA EURO 2008 competition, the whole LAD team went outside to share nice moments and souvenirs related to the 3 last weeks of June 2008.

The final of the UEFA EURO 2008 was played on Sunday the 29th of June in Vienna and the last samples are currently under analyses. In total, 124 urine samples and 248 blood samples have been analyzed in less than 24 hours by the LAD staff during the last 3 weeks.

D Day, beginning of the UEFA EURO 2008. The european soccer championship takes place from the 7th to the 29th of June 2008 in Austria and Switzerland. In addition the to popular enthousiasm linked to this event, the Swiss Laboratory for Doping Analyses staff is very concerned by this competition
Indeed, all samples (urine and blood) that will be withdrawn during the games will be conveyed to the LAD. The analyses results will have to be given to the federation within 24 hours post-reception in the lab. To achieve this, LAD provides a 24h/24 service
